Out of 8 participant teams, the crucial final of this much celebrated tournament was played between Dream Crushers Kota 5 and Tlida Eagles on 2nd Jun.’19 at Jarway Ground- Raipur.
Tlida Eagles won the toss and elected to bowl. Batting first, Dream Crushers Kota 5 posted a reasonable score of 103 runs in 14.4 overs after losing all wickets. Abul Kasim Khan and Vinay Sharma were the highest scorer with 19 runs each. Opening batsman Abhinav Singh too played well and scored 18 runs at a fast pace with 1 boundary and 1 six. Almost all the bowlers of Tlida Eagles performed well and succeeded in picking up wickets at regular intervals, however, pick of the bowlers was Shaikh Fahim with 2 wickets.
While replying, Tlida Eagle failed to give fight and crumbled at a meager score of 86 runs in 13.4 overs. The only players managed to reach double digit score were Rajesh and Monty with 12 and 13 runs respectively. Ajju Thakur from Dream Crushers Kota 5 was the bowling highlight of the innings, who scalped 4 wickets in 2.4 overs giving 15 runs. Kunal Verma, Harsh Namdeo and Tarun Sahu too chipped in with 2 wickets each damaging the batting line up of Tlida Eagle completely.
