Corporate Cricket League Season 1 was organized between 10th Mar.’19 to 2nd Jun.’19 at Gurgaon.
Out of 8 participant teams, the final of this much cherished tournament was played between Countrywide Ggn 408 and Cure.fit NCR on 2nd Jun.’19 at Sports Fiesta Ground- Gurgaon on 2nd Jun.’19.
Electing to bat, Countrywide Ggn 408 got a good start with both the opening batsmen Rajesh Gupta and Amit Sharma scoring 38 and 70 runs respectively at fast rate. It was followed by a good innings by Ajit Bisht, who added 36 runs off 24 balls with 3 boundaries and 2 sixes helping team reach at a competitive score of 187 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 9 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Himanshu from Cure.fit NCR, who took 4 wickets in 4 overs.
While chasing, opening batsman Himanshu gave Cure.fit NCR a very good start as he smashed unbeaten 117 runs off 59 balls with 18 boundaries and 4 sixes. With the help of Deepak Rawat from the other end, who added 50 runs at fast rate team reached the score of 188 runs in 18.4 overs without any struggle.
Cure.fit NCR registered and easy 7 wicket win over Countrywide Ggn 408 in the final of Corporate Cricket League Season 1.
