Dhaval Patel starred in an allround show as Silver Oak College of Engineering and Technology (SOCET) scripted a nine-wicket win over HA Commerce College (HACC) to reach the final of under-22 one-day Dhirubhai Ambani Inter College Tournament on Friday. At CN Sports Academy, Dhaval took three wickets as SOCET bowled out their rivals for 167 in 37.5 overs after electing to bowl first. For HACC, Manthan Parekh top scored with 71-ball 35 while Girish God chipped in with 43-ball 34. SOCET batting fired from the top with opener Siddharth Patel leading the charge with 88-ball 59. Fellow opener Dhaval returned to haunt HACC as he guided his team home with an unbeaten 96-ball 59. Rushi Patel too chipped in with an unbeaten 39-ball 25. For the losing side, Varshil Shah picked the lone wicket to fall.
