Divaba Spl Day Night Cricket Tournament 2019-score Managed By-New Baba Infotech.- organized by Shree700samaj Umiya Trust Visnagar was played between 5th May’19 to 20th May’19 at Visnagar.
44 teams from various verticals participated in this highly followed tournament from which, an all-important final was played between Sardar Fighters Visnagar and Romit Eleven Mehsana on 20th May’19 at A.P.M.C. Ground- Visnagar.
Electing to bat, Sardar Fighters Visnagar performed extremely well and posted a big score of 179 runs in 16 overs by losing 6 wickets. The key contributors were Patel Badal and Meet, who smashed 62 and 65 runs respectively at fast rate. Opening batsman Yash too played well and scored 20 runs off 20 balls with 3 boundaries. None of the bowlers from Romit Eleven Mehsana managed to restrict the run-flow of Sardar Fighters Visnagar, however, Umang and Nirav managed to pick 2 wickets each.
While replying, Romit Eleven Mehsana got a good start with opening batsman Kishan scoring 29 runs off 25 balls with 1 boundary and 2 sixes. However, remaining players failed to prove their mettle and team went on losing wickets at regular intervals. Since none of the remaining batsman managed to score well against aggressive bowling attack from Sardar Fighter Visnagar, team ended up at a low score of 84 runs at the end of 16 overs with the loss of 8 wickets. The chief wrecker was Patel Badal, who picked 4 wickets in 4 overs restricting Romit Eleven Mehsana from reaching at the target.
