Sports Junoon T20 Trophy 2019 was organized between 1st Apr.’19 to 13th May’19 at Satara. While chasing, Siddharth Doshi and Abhimanyu Jadhav gave R C Academy a very good start by scoring 17 and 21 runs respectively at fast rate. It was followed by the strong innings by Aarya Shah, who smashed unbeaten 2 16 teams from various verticals participated in this much cherished tournament from which, an all-important final was played between Maratha Gym and R C Academy on 13th May’19 at Chhatrapati Shahu District Sports Complex- Satara.
Electing to bat, Maratha Gym failed impress and started to lose wickets from early overs. The only player performed well was Sanket Argade, who scored 37 runs off 34 balls with 2 boundaries and 1 six helped team reach at a decent score of 100 runs in 16.4 overs after losing all wickets. Rest of the players were dismissed in single digits without contributing much in the final score. The chief wrecker was Akash Solaskar, who scalped 4 important wickets in 4 overs rattling the rival’s boat terribly. Shubham Bhokare and Sarang Varnekar too bowled well and chipped in with 2 wickets each damaging the batting line up of Maratha Gym Completely.
3 runs in 22 balls with 3 boundaries. R C Academy reached at 102 runs in just 10.3 overs by losing 4 wickets without any hassle.
All-round R C Academy won the final of Sports Junoon T20 Trophy 2019 against Maratha Gym by 6 wickets.
