An interesting semi-final of Raipur Premier League Season 4 (RPL 4) was played between Forest (RPL 4) and Railway (RPL 4) on 4th Oct.’17 at University Ground- Raipur.
Railway (RPL 4) won the toss and elected to bat. Team started well with opening batsman Vaibhav (wk) scoring 57 runs. However, the team did not manage to score at a good pace and ended up scoring 160 runs in 37 overs after losing all the wickets. Bowling highlight of the innings was Abhishek Tamrakar from Forest (RPL 4), who took 4 wickets in 6 overs by giving 17 runs.
While replying, Forest (RPL 4) too struggled to achieve the target. However, it was a wonderful team effort as most of the players contributed well. Forest (RPL 4) scored 164 runs in 35 overs by losing 6 wickets. Highest scorer was Abhishek Jain with 37 runs.
Forest (RPL 4) won the semi-final by 4 wickets.
