Indus Valley Premier League was organized between 25th Apr.’19 to 9th May’19 at Noida.
Out of 8 participant teams, the crucial final was played between Indus Vishwa and Indus Blue Panthers on 9th May 2019 at IVPS- Noida.
Indus Blue Panthers won the toss and elected to bowl. Proving their decision right, they picked wickets at regular intervals restricting opponent from scoring well. The only batsmen managed to reach 2 digit scores of Indus Vishwa were Sahibdeep Singh Bawa and Ratib Dubey, who scored 42 and 25 runs respectively. Remaining players were dismissed within 10 runs and team collapsed at the score of 110 runs in 19.4 overs. Pranjal Singh from Indus Blue Panthers scalped 3 wickets in 3.4 overs damaging the batting line up of Indus Vishwa badly. Sagar and Lakshya Singh also chipped in with 2 wickets each resulting in early collapse of opponent team.
While chasing, Indus Blue Panthers got an excellent start as Captain Vibhor smashed unbeaten 88 runs off 57 balls with 19 boundaries leading team straight to the final victory. Sagar added useful 16 runs from the other end helping team reach at the score of 113 runs in just 14.4 overs by losing 2 wickets.
