Society Big Bash 2019 was organized between 16th Mar.’19 to 28th Apr.’19 at Noida.
25 teams from various verticals participated in this much cherished tournament from which, the crucial final was played between GC10 Tigers and Zodiac Lions on 28th Apr.’19 at Star Cricket Ground- Noida.
Electing to bat, GC10 Tigers failed terribly as none of the players managed to go beyond 10’s and team bundled up at a meager score of 61 runs in 12.1 overs. Highest score was of 13 runs, which was made by Manas. And the other 2 players, who managed to reach double digits were Dev Chaudhary and Alok with 12 and 11 runs respectively. The chief wrecker was Himanshu Sharma from Zodiac Lions, who scalped 3 important wickets in 2.1 overs giving only 5 runs. Yogi too bowled extremely well and picked another 3 wickets, which damaged the batting line up of GC10 Tigers completely.
While chasing, Zodiac Lions achieved the target in just 4.5 overs without any struggle. The highest scorer was Himanshu Sharma, who scored 31 runs off 11 balls with 4 boundaries and 2 sixes. Yogi and Chandra Prakash added 16 runs each at fast rate leading team towards the final win.
Zodiac Lions registered an easy 9 wicket win over GC10 Lions in the final of Society Big Bash 2019.
