Out of 43 participant teams, the crucial final of this much celebrated tournament was played between PM Challengers and Mayur K K Gulmohar on 24th Apr.’19 at Shashakiya Kridagan Nehru Nagar- Solapur.
Mayur K K Gulmohar opted to field after winning the toss. Batting first, PM Challengers posted a good score of 59 runs in 6 overs by losing 6 wickets. The major contributors were Shrikant Jamadar and Irshad Birajdhar, who scored 24 and 16 runs respectively at fast pace. Pick of the bowlers was Raju Jadhav from Mayur K K Gulmor, who picked 2 wickets in 1 over.
While chasing, Mayur K K Gulmohar had a good start with both opening batsmen Sandeep Rathod and Vitthal Chauhan smashing 13 and 23 runs respectively taking team close to the target. Chunni Goyal too contributed with unbeaten 12 runs and led team towards the final victory without any struggle. Mayur K K Gulmohar scored 61 runs in 2.4 overs with the loss of 1 wicket.
