Malviya Premier League 3 was played between 30th Sep’17 to 2nd Oct’17 at Ahmedabad.
Out of 16 participant teams, the final of the tournament was played between Blacksmith Challengers (MPL 3) and Falna Warriors (MPL 3).
Blacksmith Challengers (MPL 3) won the toss and elected to bat. Team did not get a very good start but they managed to score at a good pace. Team scored 102 runs in 14 overs by losing 8 wickets. Kushwant Chauhan was the highest scorer, who scored 32 runs in 24 balls.
While replying, Falna Warriors (MPL 3) tried giving a good fight. Despite some early loses, players continued to add to the score steadily. However, team did not manage to score at a required pace and ended up scoring 87 runs in 14 overs after losing all wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Praveen Chauhan from Blacksmith Challengers (MPL 3), who took 4 important wickets in 3 overs by giving only 14 runs.
Blacksmith Challengers (MPL 3) won the final by 15 runs against Falna Warriors (MPL 3).
