HPL Champions Trophy 2019- organized by Shreenath Advertising was played on 13th Apr.’19 and 14th Apr.’19.
20 teams from various verticals participated in this much celebrated tournament from which, the crucial final was played between CCPA Avengers and Agri Pioneers on 14th Apr.’19 at Panther Cricket Stadium - Jaipur.
Electing to bat, CCPA Avengers posted a good score of 93 runs in 10 overs by losing 4 wickets. Highest contributor was Kasot, who scored unbeaten 31 runs off 24 balls with 2 boundaries. The other major contributors were Crick Ganpat and Mukul Tak with 17 and 15 runs respectively.
While replying, Agri Pioneers never got a chance to score against the strong bowling attack from CCPA Avengers. None of the players went beyond single digit scores and entire team collapsed at the meager score of 36 runs in 6.5 overs. All the bowlers of CCPA Avengers performed extremely well, however, pick of the lot was Subham Shekhawat, who scalped 4 wickets in 2 overs giving 9 runs damaging the batting line up of Agri Pioneers terribly.
CCPA Avengers registered a glorious 57 run win over Agri Pioneers in the final of HPL Champions Trophy 2019.
Kasot from CCPA Avengers was awarded as the player of the match for his all-round contribution.
