Sheth CN Vidhyalay crushed Akhanand Madhyamik in the two day U-19 Diwan Ballubhai School Tournament by an innings and 385 runs, thanks to the impressive bowling by Yuvraj Singh at Motera-C. Winning the toss CN elected to bowl first and wreaked havoc on the Akhanand batsmen who collapsed having scored a humiliating 11 runs in 13.5 overs. Yuvraj Singh took 6 wickets each in both the innings while Harsh Thakkar and Naishil Sharma took 2 wickets each. CN batsmen decimated Akhanand bowlers, scoring a total of 427 runs in 83.5 overs. Naishil sharma was the leading scorer with 145 runs in 82 balls. In 2nd innings when Akhanand came to bat, CN bowlers didn’t show any mercy at all and got them all out by 31runs. The match was awarded to CN for their massive first innings lead.
