JPL Jain Premier League 2019 was played on 5th & 6th Apr.’19 at Davangere.
Out of 12 participant team, an interesting final of this highly followed tournament was played between Jain Sanskar XI and Jain Devangere XI on 6th Apr.’19 at District Stadium Davangere.
Jain Davangere XI elected to bowl first after winning the toss. Batting first, Jain Sanskar XI posted 28 runs at the end of 4 overs by losing 3 wickets. Rithik Ranka was the main contributor, who scored 14 runs off 10 balls. Pick of the bowlers was Rahul Jain from Jain Davangere, who picked up an important wicket form of opening batsman Ashish K Jain.
While chasing, Jain Davangere never got a chance to score against the strong bowling attack from Jain Sanskar XI as team started to lose wickets from the very first ball of the innings. In a dramatic collapse, team lost all the wickets at a meager score of 16 runs at the end of 4 overs. All the bowlers of Jain Sanskar XI performed extremely well however, pick of the lot was Chetan Chaouhan, who scalped 3 wickets in 1 over giving only 3 runs. Sanjay J and Rithik Ranka too chipped in with 3 and 2 wickets respectively dismantling the batting line up of Jain Davangere completely.
Jain Sanskar XI won the final of JPL Jain Premier League 2019 by 12 runs against Jain Davangere XI.
Rithik Ranka was Jain Sanskar XI was awarded as the player of the match for his all-round contribution.
