KHAPUR PREMIER LEAGUE (KPL) 2019 was played between 1st Mar.’19 to 22nd Mar.’19 at Syleht- Bangladesh.
Held at Khapur Cricket Ground, the final of this tournament was played between Loyal Knights Cricket and All Star Champions KP on 22nd Mar.’19.
All Star Champions KP won the toss and elected to bowl first. The decision did not seem to go well for them as Loyal Knight Cricket performed really well and posted a huge score of 227 runs in 16 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Most of the players scored at a fast rate but highest scorers were Muqtadir Ahmed and Jumel Ahmed with 45 and 44 runs respectively. None of the bowlers from All Star Champions KP managed to restrict the run-flow of Loyal Knight Cricket, however, Tipu Choudhary succeeded in picking up 4 wickets.
While replying, All Star Champions KP started to fumble from early overs with majority of the players being dismissed at single digit scores. The only players, who managed to reach a double digit scores were Fahim and Rasel with 30 and 18 runs respectively. All Star Champions KP failed to score well against the strong bowling attack from Loyal Knights Cricket and collapsed at the score of 122 runs in 14.2 overs. Almost all the bowlers of Loyal Knights Cricket performed extremely well but pick of the lot was Muqtadir Ahmed, who scalped 4 wickets in 3.2 overs. Minhaz Ahmeda too chipped in with 4 more wickets damaging the batting line up of All Star Champions KP completely.
Loyal Knights Cricket won the final of KHAPUR PREMIER LEAGUE (KPL) 2019 by 105 runs against All Star Champions KP.
Muqtadir Ahmed from Loyal Knights Cricket was awarded as the player of the match for his all-round show.
