Photographer Premier League (PPL) 2017 was played at Solapur from 23-Sep-17 to 27-Sep-17.
Out of 21 participant teams, the final was played between Unity Warriors-B (PPL) and SGS 8 Balaji (PPL) on 27th Sep’17 at Shashkiy Krida Sankul Kumtha Naka- Solapur.
SGS 8 Balaji (PPL) won the toss and elected to field. Team bowled well as they took some crucial wickets in the early overs. Unity Warriors-B (PPL) did not get a good start and they continued to lose wickets at regular intervals. Highest scorers were Prakash Kalburge and Arif Kazi, who scored 30 and 24 runs respectively at a good pace. Team ended up scoring 84 runs in 11.5 overs after losing all the wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Vaibhav Bidkar from SGS 8 Balaji (PPL), who took 5 wickets in 3 overs.
While replying, SGS 8 Balaji (PPL) got a good start with Shrikant Kshirsagar and Yojiraj Bazarmat scoring at a good pace. However, remaining players failed to deliver the same performance and the team closed their innings at 72 runs in 12 overs after losing 6 wickets. Bowling highlight of the innings was Wasim Patel from Warriors-B (PPL), who took 3 wickets in 3 overs.
Unity Warriors- B (PPL) won the final of Photographer Premier League 2017 by 12 runs.
