Surat Telugu Premier League -3 2019 was played between 3rd Feb.’19 to 24th Mar.’19 at Surat.
12 teams from different verticals participated in this much celebrated tournament from which, an all-important final was played between Rudra Insurance and Bharat Studio on 24th Mar.’19 at Dindoli Ground - Surat.
Bharat Studio won the toss and elected to bowl. Batting first, Rudra Insurance started well with opening batsman Prashant Yedla scoring 23 runs at a fast pace. However, the other players failed to cross 10’s and team ended up scoring 91 runs at the end of 12 overs with the loss of 7 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Naresh Dasari from Bharat Studio, who picked 3 wickets in 2 overs.
While replying, Bharat Studio got a wonderful start with Krishna smashing unbeaten 48 runs off 23 balls with 6 boundaries. He was supported well by Venky Cyclone from the other end, who added 24 runs in 19 balls and remained not out. With their strong partnership, team reached the score of 95 runs in just 9.3 overs by losing 2 wickets.
Bharat Studio registered an easy 8 wicket win over Rudra Insurance in the final of Surat Telugu Premier League -3 2019.
Krishna from Bharat Studio was awarded as the player of the match for his all-round show.
