RS Premier League 2019 -organized by R S Brothers was played between 6th Mar.’19 to 21st Mar.’19 at Hyderabad.
14 teams from various verticals participated in this highly followed tournament from which, the crucial final was played between Warehouse Warriors and Patny Prince XI on 21st Mar.’19 at Hyderabad.
Electing bat, Warehouse Warriors posted a good score of as all the players contributing significantly in putting up the final score. Team got an excellent start with both opening batsmen Azmath Ali and P. Sampath scoring 76 and 31 runs respectively at fast pace. It was followed by a strong innings by K. Ravi, who added 28 runs off 20 balls with 4 boundaries. With almost all the players scoring at fast rate team posted a competitive score of 173 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 4 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Hussain from Patny Prince XI with 2 wickets.
While chasing, opening batsman Hussain gave Patny Prince XI a good start by scoring 23 runs off 18 balls with 3 boundaries. Giri Babu supported him well from the other end as he scored useful 21 runs at stable pace. However, other players failed to perform well against the strong bowling attack from Warehouse Warriors and team went on losing wickets at regular intervals , which resulted in slow pace. Team ended up scoring 95 runs at the end of 20 overs with the loss of 7 wickets. Bowling highlight of the innings was Madhu Mohan from Warehouse Warriors, who scalped 3 wickets in 4 overs giving only 12 runs. A. Srinu too bowled really well and chipped in with 2 important wickets restricting the opponent from reaching at the target.
All-round Warehouse Warriors posted a glorious 78 run victory over Patny prince XI in the final of RS Premier League 2019.
