Healthkart Cricket League Season- 2 was played between 20th Aug’17 to 24th Sep’17 at Skyline Cricket Ground, Gurgaon.
The final of this tournament was played between Smashers (HLS 2) and Rising Stars (HSL 2) on 24th Sep’17.
Rising stars (HLS 2) won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, Smashers (HSL 2) performed well and ended at the decent score of 107 runs in 20 overs by losing 7 wickets. Highest scorer was Bhanu Rawat with 34 runs. Pick of the bowlers was Kapil from Rising stars (HLS 2), who took 2 wickets in 4 overs by giving 13 runs.
While replying, Rising stars (HLS 2) got a good start with Krishan and Kapil (c) adding 37 and 24 runs at a good pace. However, remaining players failed to add to the score and the wickets started to fall at regular intervals. Jitendra Panihar from Smashers (HLS 2) bowled extremely well and took 5 wickets in 3.2 overs . Team lost all the wickets in 18.2 overs after making 94 runs.
Smashers (HLS 2) won the final by 13 runs.
