BPL -4 2019 was organized between 3rd Mar.’19 to 17th Mar. ‘19 at Godhra.
12 teams from different verticals participated in this tournament from which, the crucial final was played between CSK Chandanzhira and Lucky Fan Club on 17th Mar.’19 at Badnapur Market Committee, Jalna.
Electing to bat, CSK Chandanzhira played a very good innings as almost all the players contributed well in the final score. Team started well with both the opening batsmen Amol Salve and Sachin Devnde scoring 20 and 15 runs respectively at fast rate. Remaining players too scored at fast pace and team ended up at a good score of 96 runs in 10 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Shaikh Azhar Zafar from Lucky Fan Club with 2 wickets.
While chasing, Lucky Fan Club gave a good fight but fell short of just 5 runs from reaching at the target. Opening batsman Salman Singal started well as he smashed 21 runs off 7 balls with 2 boundaries and 2 sixes. Captain Yunus Shaikh also played a very good innings and scored unbeaten 37 runs in 23 balls took team close to the target, however, he failed to get good support from the other end and ended up scoring 91 runs at the end of 10 overs by losing 7 wickets. Bowling highlight of the innings was Chatte Polard from CSK Chandanzhira, who picked 2 important wickets in 3 overs giving only 12 runs.
CSK Chandanzhira won the final of BPL -4 2019 by 5 runs against Lucky Fan Club.
Chatte Polard from CSK Chandanzhira was awarded as the player of the match for his significant contribution.
