Chhatrapati Premier League 2019 was played between 26th Feb.’19 to 3rd Mar.’19 at Pusad.
Held at Yashwant Stadium- Pusad, an all-important final of this highly followed tournament was played between Mahanayak and Police 11 PSD on 6th Mar.’19.
Police 11 PSD chose to bowl first after winning the toss. Proving their decision right, they restricted Mahanayak at a low score of 53 runs in 9.3 overs after losing all the wickets. None of the players managed to go beyond 10’s as the highest score being 11 runs made by Akshay Chavhan. Bowling highlight of the innings was Nana Maske, who scalped 3 important wickets in 3 overs damaging the batting line up of Mahanayak terribly. Anup Hatolkar too bowled well and picked 2 wickets restricting the opponent from scoring well.
While replying, Police 11 PSD managed to reach the target in just 8.1 overs without any struggle. The major contributor was Laxman Pawar, who scored 23 runs in 19 balls with 3 boundaries and remaining unbeaten. Anup Hatolkar and Vinod Dalvi too played at a fast rate, which helped team reach at the score of 57 runs in 8.1 overs by losing 3 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Premkumar Ade from Mahanayak with 2 wickets.
Police 11 PSD won the final of Chhatrapati Premier League 2019 by 7 wickets against Mahanayak.
Nana Maske from Police 11 MSD was awarded as the player of the match for his significant contribution.
