Rangrej Premier League 2017 was played between 18-Sep-17 to 20-Sep-17. 8 Teams participated in this tournament organized at Sadul Club Ground, Bikaner.
The final was played between Chak De India (Bikaner) and Sultan Club on 20th Sep’17.
Chak De India (Bikaner) won the toss and elected to bat. Despite losing their first few wickets in early overs, team played well and scored 117 runs in 20 overs by losing 9 wickets. Highest scorers were Firoz Ali and Salman Rangrej (wk), who scored 35 and 22 runs respectively. Pick of the bowler was Ramzu Ali from Sultan Club, who took 3 wickets in 4 overs.
While chasing the target of 118 runs, Sultan Club played a very good innings. Anwer Ali (62) and Aabid Husain (34) (c & wk)’s amazing partnership steered them towards the final victory. The team managed to achieve the target in 15 overs with the loss of 2 wickets.
Sultan Club won the final defeating Chak De India (Bikaner) by 8 wickets.
