Impulso 2019 was organized between 17th Jan.’19 to 12th Feb.’19 at Gandhinagar.
Held at GIT Ground- Gandhinagar, the crucial final of this much celebrated tournament was played between Uri Strikers and Civil Rocker on 12th Feb.’19.
Electing to bat, Uri Strikers failed to get a good start against strong bowling attack from Civil Rocker. Most of the players were dismissed in 10’s, where highest scorer was Sandeep, who scored 22 runs of 11 balls 2 fours and 2 sixes. The other major contributor was Aazad Meena with 17 runs. Since remaining players failed to perform, team bundled up scoring 81 runs in 14 overs. Bowling highlight of the innings was Krupesh Patel from Civil Rocker, who scalped 3 wickets in 3 overs giving only 5 runs, which damaged the batting line up of Uri Strikers badly. Patel Keyur too contributed well with 2 wickets and restricted the opponent from putting up a big score.
While chasing, Civil Rocker got an excellent start with both opening batsmen Krupesh Patel and Jenish smashing 49 and 22 runs respectively at fast rate taking team straight to the final win without any struggle. Civil Rocker reached at the score of 85 runs in just 8 overs with the loss of 1 wicket.
Civil Rocker registered a glorious 9 wicket win over Uri Strikers in the final of Impulso 2019.
Krupesh Patel from Civil Rocker was awarded as the player of the match for his excellent contribution.
