JCA Challengers Super League was organized between 4th Feb.’19 to 12th Feb.’19 at Bengaluru.
Out of 4 participant teams, the crucial final of this much cherished tournament is played between JCA Team Yellow and JCA Team Blue on 12th Feb.’19 at Just Cricket Ground - Bengaluru.
Opting to bat, JCA Team Yellow started well with both opening batsmen Shishir R and Siddharth Akhil scoring 37 and 30 runs respectively at stable pace. Bhuvan Gowda too played well and added useful 21 runs helping team reach at a reasonable score of 158 runs in 30 overs after losing all the wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Adarsh B from JCA Team Blue, who picked 2 wickets in 4 overs.
While chasing, JCA Team Blue played a very good innings and chased down the target in 26.3 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. The key contributor was Ronit Akthar, who single handedly smashed 74 runs of 53 balls with 14 boundaries putting JCA Team Blue at commanding position. He was supported well by Krithin B from the other end, who scored unbeaten 29 runs off 32 balls taking team straight towards the final victory without much hassle.
