College Cricket League 2017 was played between 6th Sep- 15th Sep’17 at Jaipur.
The final of this tournament was played between Rajasthan (CCL) and Punjab (CCL) at Aarvali Cricket Ground ICA on 14th Sep’17.
Punjab (CCL) won the toss and elected to field. Rajasthan (CCL) played a good innings with all the players contributing well to the final score. Pravin Chaudhary and Amit Singh Rathod were the highest scorers with 35 and 37 runs respectively. The team scored 145 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 7 wickets.
While chasing the target of 146 runs, Punjab (CCL) did not get a good start. The team started to lose wickets from the early overs and players failed to score runs at the required pace. Highest scorer was Ranjeev gill (wk), who scored 36 runs in 30 balls. Akash from Rajasthan (CCL) bowled very well and took 3 important wickets in 4 overs by giving 13 runs. Team managed to score 124 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 7 wickets.
The College Cricket League 2017 ended with Rajasthan (CCL) winning the final by 21 runs against Punjab (CCL).
