Ekta Chashak - 2019 (Season 2) organized by Nagarsevika Miss Yashasritai Laxminarayan Bakhriya was played between 17th Jan.’19 to 23rd Jan.’19 at Aurangabad.
12 teams from various verticals participated in this much celebrated tournament from which, the crucial final was played between Sachinbhau Fighters (Dwarkadhish) and Shri Ram Cricket Club (Chouraha) on 23rd Jna.’19 at Marathwada Sankrutik Mandal- Aurangabad.
Shri Ram Cricket Club (Chouraha) won the toss and opted to bowl first. Batting first, Sachinbhau Fighters (Dwarkadhish) scored at fast pace and posted a good score of 99 runs in 10 overs by losing 6 wickets. Highest scorer was Niraj Mondhekar, who scored 28 runs off 13 balls with 4 boundaries and 1 six. Aashu Shaikh and Shaik Mukit too played well and added 25 and 22 runs at fast rate helping team reach at a good score. Pick of the bowlers was Gaurav Bassaye, who picked 2 wickets in 4 overs.
While chasing, Shri Ram Cricket Club (Chouraha) did not get a good start and team started to lose wickets from early overs. All the players except Rohan Pawar (32) were dismissed in single digits and team ended up scoring 63 runs at the end of 10 overs by losing 8 wickets. Bowling highlight of the innings was Aashu Shaikh from Sachinbhau Fighters (Dwarkadhish), who picked 3 important wickets in 3 overs damaging the batting line up Shri Ram Cricket Club (Chouraha) badly.
Sachinbhau Fighters (Dwarkadhish) registered 36 run win over Shri Ram Cricket Club (Chouraha) in the final of Ekta Chashak - 2019.
Aashu Shaikh from Sachinbhau Fighters (Dwarkadhish) was awarded as the player of the match for his all-round performance.
