Kosamba Rajput Samaj Aayojit (Moti-Pardi Yuvak Mandal) RPL-5 2019 was organized between 1st Jan.’19 to 20th Jan.’19 at Surat.
Out of 37 participant teams, an all-important final of this highly followed tournament was played between Valia Tiger 11 and Kimamli KSK on 20th Jan.’19 at K V Club Kimamli - Surat.
Electing to bat, Valia Tiger 11 failed to get a good start and lost some important wickets in early overs. However, Sailendrasinh Borasiya, who came to bat on 5th position played a stable innings and made highest 28 runs off 35 balls giving much needed boost to the team. Shardulsinh Rana too supported him well from the other end by adding useful 19 runs at stable pace. With majority of the players scoring in 10’s team ended up scoring 99 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing all the wickets. Pick of the bowlers were Rudresh Vaghela and Nisargsinh Parmar from Kimamli KSK, who picked 3 wickets each damaging batting line of the opponent team terribly. Viraj Thakor too chipped in with 2 more wickets restricting Valia Tiger 11 at a low score.
While replying, Kamamli KSK started extremely well with opening batsman Yuvraj Solanki smashing unbeaten 46 runs off 43 balls with 7 boundaries leading team towards final win. Rudresh Vaghela too supported him well from the other end scoring 28 runs in 18 balls, which helped team reach at the score of 101 runs in just 14.2 overs by with the loss of 2 wickets.
Kamamli KSK registered an easy 8 wicket win over Valia Tiger 11 in the final of Kosamba Rajput Samaj Aayojit (Moti-Pardi Yuvak Mandal) RPL-5 2019 .
Rudresh Vaghela from Kamamli KSK was awarded as the player of the match for his all-round performance.
