Out of 6 participant teams, an all-important final was played between DIL Secret Stars and Tadoba Tigers (DPL) on 19th Jan.’19 at GET Hostel- Chandrapur.
Electing to bat, DIL Secret Stars posted a competitive score of 108 runs at the end of 14 overs by losing 6 wickets. The ther major contributor was Sushant Moundekar, whose 25 runs in 16 balls in crucial overs helped team reach at a good score for final clash. Pick of the bowlers was Deivaraj K from Tadoba Tigers (DPL) with 2 wickets.
While replying, Tadoba Tigers (DPL) never got a chance to score well against the strong bowling attack from DIL Secret Stars. Almost all the players, except Nandkishor Dangre (12) were dismissed in single digits and team collapsed at a meager score of 50 runs in 13 overs. Almost all the bowlers of DIL Secret Stars performed extremely well but pick of the lot was Krishna Kant, who picked 4 important wickets in in 3 overs giving only 4 runs.
