The All India T-20 Under 19 Gold Cup 2017 was played between 13th August- 10th Sep’17 at Hapur.
Out of 8 participant teams, the final was played between Manoj Gaur Cricket Academy (Gold Cup) and Harkishan Singh Cricket Academy (Gold Cup) at Harkishan Singh Cricket Stadium Simbhaoli-Hapur.
Manoj Gaur Cricket Academy (Gold Cup) won the toss and elected to bat. The team did not get a very good start as they started to lose wickets from the early overs and none of the player seemed to score significantly for the team. However, Harsh Chaudhary (wk), who came for batting at 8th position scored terrific 40 runs in just 20 balls gave much needed boost to the final score. The team closed at the decent score of 118 runs in 20 overs by losing 9 wickets.
While replying, Harkishan Singh Cricket Academy (Gold Cup) started well with opening batsman Gagan smashing 52 runs in just 24 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixes. However, they failed to maintain the pace and remaining wickets fell in quick succession. Though the team gave a very good fight till the last over but ended up scoring 111 runs by losing all wickets in 19.5 overs.
Manoj Gaur Cricket Academy (Gold Cup) won the final by 7 runs.
Harsh Chaudhary (wk) (Manoj Gaur Cricket Academy (Gold Cup)) was awarded as Man of The Match.
