B.V.M. PREMIER LEAGUE 2018 was organized between 1st Jan.’19 to 10th Jan.’19 at Anand.
Out of the 10 participant teams, an all-important final of this much celebrated tournament was played between B.V.M. Knight Riders and B.V.M. Blaster on 10th Jan.’19 at Shashtri Maidan-Anand.
B.V.M. Blasters won the toss and chose to bowl first. The decision went completely wrong for them as B.V.M. Knight Riders played a wonderful innings posted a big score of 152 runs in 14 overs with the loss of 4 wickets. Jayesh Sabaliya was on fire as he smashed 92 runs in just 29 balls including 6 boundaries and 10 sixes. Keval Padsumiya too played well and added 32 runs at fast pace. With most of the players performing well, team managed to put up a big score. None of the bolwers from B.V.M. Blaster managed to restrict the run-flow of B.V.M. Knight Riders.
While chasing, B.V.M. Blaster too tried well with most of the players performing well. Opening batsman Mayani Dhruvil scored unbeaten 25 runs off 38 balls with 2 boundaries and 1 six. However, the highest contributor was Subham Rami, who scored unbeaten 40 runs in 19 balls with 3 boundaries and 4 sixes. Despite trying well, team failed to score in required pace and ended up scoring 105 runs at the end of 14 overs by losing 5 overs. Pick of the bowlers was Keval Padsumbiya from B.V.M. Knight Riders with 2 wickets.
B.V.M. Knight Riders registered 47 run win over B.V.M. Blaster in the final of B.V.M. Premier League 2018.
