The final of MNM MPL 2017 was held at Agriculture College Ground, Raichur on 10th Sep’17. The 16 overs match was played between Merino Love Guns (MNM) and Jain A (MNM).
Merino Love Guns (MNM) won the toss and elected to bat. Opening batsmen Rohit Varma and Vivek tried to give a good start by scoring at a good strike rate. However, they did not manage to stand for long against attacking bowling of Jain A players. Vinay Jain, who took 4 important wickets in 4 overs disturbed the batting line of Merino Love Guns (MNM) completely and the team crumbled in 14.4 overs by scoring 81 runs. Highest scorer was Vivek, who scored 38 runs in 36 balls.
Jain A (MNM) got a wonderful start with Sankul Jain and Amit Kothari (wk) scoring 37 and 36 runs respectively. Since the target was not difficult achieve, the team reached at the score f 84 runs in just 12 overs by losing 1 wicket.
Jain A (MNM) won the final of MNM MPL 2017 by 9 wickets.
