Chandrapur Premier League Season 6 2018-19 was organized between 23rd Dec.’18 to 9th Jan.’19 at Chandrapur.
Out of 16 participant teams, the crucial final of this highly followed tournament was played between White Ash and Chandrapur Bullets on 9th Jan.’19 at Police Football Ground Tukum- Chandrapur.
Electing to bat, White Ash started well with Anand Keshwani and Imran Sheikh scoring 25 and 20 runs respectively at stable pace. Captain Azhar Sheikh played a very good innings and scored unbeaten 34 runs off 35 balls with 5 boundaries. He was supported well by Swapnil Bandiwar, who added useful 32 runs at fast pace, which helped team reach at a reasonable score of 117 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 4 wickets.
While replying, Chandrapur Bullets played a wonderful innings and chased down the target in 17.3 overs by losing 3 wickets. Most of the players contributed significantly in the final chase, however, the highest scorer was Captain Prashant Nagose with 34 runs. Strong partnership between Pravin Landge and Santosh Kankam, who added 26 and 29 runs respectively steered team towards final victory without any hassle.
Chandrapur Bullets registered an easy 7 wicket win over White Ash in the final of Chandrapur Premier League Season 6 2018-19.
Pravin Landge from Chandrapur Bullets was awarded as the player of the match for his excellent contribution.
