Balrampur Premier League (BPL) 2018 - organized by City Sunshine Group Balrampur was played between 23rd Dec.’18 to 31st Dec.’18 at Balrampur.
12 teams from different cities participated in this much cherished tournament was played between Fight Cricket Club- Balrampur and KBF -XI (Lucknow) on 30th Dec.’18 at Sports Stadium - Balrampur.
Opting to bat, Fighter Cricket Club - Balrampur played a very good innings with almost all the players contributing well in the final score. The highest scorers were Dheeraj Singh and Afran, who scored 42 and 39 runs respectively at fast rate. Noman Sheikh and Mahesh Yadav too added useful 24 and 23 runs respectively, which helped team reaching at a good score of 141 runs at the end of 16 overs by losing 5 wickets.
While replying, KBF - XI (Lucknow) did not get a good start and lost some important wickets in early overs. Most of the players failed to perform against strong bowling attack from Fighter Cricket Club- Balrampur. Harris was the highest score with 36 runs off 22 balls including 3 boundaries and 3 sixes. The other major contributor was Pervez, who smashed 21 runs in just 8 balls with 3 sixes. However, remaining players did not manage to beyond single digits and team crumbled at the score of 121 runs in 15 overs. The chief wrecker was Iqbal from Fight Cricket Club- Balrampur, who scalped 4 important wickets in 4 overs hampering the batting line up of KBF- XI (Lucknow) badly.

Dheeraj Singh from Fight Cricket Club- Balrampur was awarded as the player of the match as well as Player of the tournament for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
