Jain Premier League T20 Tournament (2018-19) was organized between 15th Dec.’18 to 23rd Dec.’18 at Dungarpur.
Out of the 8 participant teams, the crucial final was played between Sambhavnath Cricket Club 11 and Adinath Cricket Club 11 on 23rd Dec.’18 at Laxman Ground- Dungarpur.
Opting to bat first, Sambhavnath Cricket Club 11 did not manage to get a good start and lost some important wickets in early overs. However, Dishant D Jain, who came to bat on 3rd position played well and added 21 runs at stable pace. But remaining players failed to stay strong against the strong bowling attack from Adinath Cricket Club 11 as most of the players were dismissed in 10’s and team ended up scoring 96 runs in 20 overs after losing all the wickets. Bowling highlight of the innings was Nirav Jain from Adinath Cricket Club 11, who picked 2 wickets in 4 overs giving only 9 runs. Tushan and Ajay Velawat too chipped in with 2 wickets each restricting the opponent from putting up a big score.
While replying, despite of facing some early blows Adinath Cricket Club 11 managed to chase down the target in 16.2 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Major contributors were Rajesh Jain and Hemand, who scored 23 and 18 runs respectively at fast pace helping team reach at the target without much hassle. Remaining players too contributed significantly in the final chase making it easy for Adinath Cricket Club 11.
