Bikaner Mali Saini Samaj T-20 Tournament 2018 was organized between 8th Dec.’18 to 22nd Dec.’18 at Bikaner.
Out of the 24 participant teams, the final of this heavily followed tournament was played between Aar Par Club and Shree Shiv Kismidesar Club on 22nd Dec.’18 at Sadul Club Ground- Bikaner.
Opting to bat first, Aar Par Club started well with opening batsman Ravi Parihar smashing 67 runs off 40 balls with 9 boundaries and 3 sixes. However, other batters failed to perform well as most of them were dismissed in 10’s and team ended up scoring 169 runs in 19.3 overs. Pick of the bowlers was Nandu Gehlot from Shree Shiv Kismidesar Club, who picked 2 important wickets in 4 overs.
While chasing, despite facing an early blow in the form of Kamal Gahlot Shree Kismidesar Club played an excellent innings and chased down the target in 18.3 overs by losing 3 wickets. Opening batsman Prazwal Gahlot batted extremely well and scored unbeaten 79 runs off 55 balls with 5 boundaries and 3 sixes. He was supported well by Captain Tarun Gahlot, who added 51 runs from the other end at fast rate taking team close to the final win. With most of the players contributing significantly Shree Kismidesar Club achieved the target without any hassle.
