H.P. RACER -4 CUP 2018 - organized by Cops Club was played between 4th Oct.’18 to 16th Dec.’18 at Bathinda.
10 teams from various verticals participated in this heavily followed tournament from which, an all-important final was played between Global Health Care Hospital and Jindal Heart Hospital on 16th Dec.’18 at Cops Club- Bathinda.
Electing to bat, Global Health Care Hospital scored at fast rate and posted a big score of 263 runs in 28 overs by losing 7 wickets. The key contributors were Tejpal Singh and Aman Bhai Rupa, who scored 98 and 66 runs respectively helping team put up a good score for the final clash. Other players too contributed well and scored at fast pace. None of the bowlers from Jindal Heart Hospital managed to restrict the run-flow of Global Health Care Hospital, however, Anil Garg succeeded in picking up 2 important wickets in 5 overs.
While chasing, Jindal Heart Hospital did not get a good start and lost few early wickets in quick succession. However, Gurbaksh Mehra, who came to bat on 8th position played really well as he smashed 80 runs in just 39 balls with 3 boundaries and 11 sixes giving team the much needed boost. He was supported well from the other end by Rishabh Singla, who added useful 25 runs off 32 balls. The other 2 players managed to perform well were Ravinder and Sushant Sharma with 43 and 26 runs respectively. Despite trying really well, team collapsed at the score of 216 runs in 25.5 overs. Pick of the bowlers was Aman Bhai Rupa from Global Health Care Hospital, who scalped 3 wickets in 5 overs. Other bowlers too contributed well resulting in early collapse of Jindal Heart Hospital.
Global Health Care Hospital won the final of H.P. RACER -4 CUP 2018 by 47 runs against Jindal Heart Hospital.
Aman Bhairupa from Global Health Care Hospital was awarded as the player of the match for his significant contribution in the final win.
