Cricket Appeal Club Under 14 Two Day League Tournament 2018 was organized between 13th Nov.’18 to 16th Dec.’18 at Ahmedabad.
12 teams from various cricket academies participated in this much cherished tournament from which the crucial final was played between CN Sports Academy and M Power Cricket on 15th and 16th Dec.’18.
Electing to bat CN Sports Academy posted a decent score of 250 runs at the end of Day 1 with the loss of 7 wickets. The highest scorers were Ishaan Shah and Jay Nimje with 81 and 67 runs respectively. Though team went on losing the wickets at regular intervals, which interrupted their pace and they failed to put up a big score for the final battle. Pick of the bowlers was Arav Devpura from M Power Cricket, whose 2/49 in 19 overs restricted opponent from scoring freely.
While relying, M Power Cricket got an excellent start with both the opening batsmen scoring at stable pace. Paras Kotwal was the key contributor, who scored unbeaten 132 runs off 136 balls with 18 boundaries. Jainish Patel too supported him well and added useful 80 runs taking team close to the final win. M Power Cricket achieved the target in 43.2 overs by losing 1 wicket without any hassles.
