Adesh Hospital & Medical College Cup was organized between 2nd Sep.’18 to 9th Dec.’18 at Bathinda.
18 teams from various verticals participated in this heavily followed tournament from which, the final was played between Pinnu Bhuvi XI and K.K Stars on 9th Dec.’18 at Teshwar Sports Academy- Bathinda.
Electing to bat, Pinnu Bhuvi XI did not manage to get a good start and lost some important wickets in early overs. The highest scorer was Vishal Singh, who scored 39 runs off 24 balls with 5 sixes. The other major contributors were Sarabjeet Singh and Gurpreet Singh Kohli, who added useful 27 and 26 runs respectively. With majority of the players scoring in single digits, team crumbled in 25.3 overs making 127 runs after losing all wickets. The chief wrecker was Pawan from K.K Stars, who scalped 5 important wickets damaging the batting line up of the opponent team badly. Sunil and Kashish too chipped in with 4 and 3 wickets respectively resulted in early collapse of Pinnu Bhuvi XI.
While chasing,K. K stars too didn’t get a good start but a strong partnership between Rohit Soni and Sandeep Silky, who scored 47 and 42 runs respectively at fast rate helped team reach at the target without much struggle. Team reached at the score of 133 runs in just 15.1 overs by losing 5 wickets.
K.K Stars registered an easy 8 wicket win over Pinnu Bhuvi XI in the final of Adesh Hospital & Medical College Cup.
