Zeal T20 Corporate Cricket League 2018 was organized between 15th Aug.’18 to 1st Dec.’18 at Jaipur.
16 teams from various corporates participated in this tournament from which, the crucial final was played between Aawas Financiers and Golden Warriors 11 on 1st Dec.’18 at Dr. Mandoliya Cricket Ground- Jaipur.
Electing bat, despite losing some early wickets Aawas Financiers managed to put up a decent score of 123 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 6 wickets. The key contributor was Chandra Pratap, who scored 42 runs off 49 balls with 4 boundaries. Pushpendra Indoria and Sonu Sharma too played well and added useful 26 and 21 runs respectively helping team reach at a good score for the final battle. Pick of the bowlers was Furkan Ali from Golden Warriors 11, who picked 2 important wickets in 1 over giving 7 runs.
While chasing, Golden Warriors 11 got a very good start with both the opening batsmen Furkan Ali and Jony scoring 39 and 20 runs respectively at fast pace. It was followed by the strong innings from Mahipal Singh (19) and Parvindra Singh (22), which helped Golden Warriors 11 reach at the target without any hassles. Team chased down the target in 18 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Pick if the bowlers was Kamlesh from from Awas Financiers with 2 wickets.
