One of the most celebrated tournaments of Bikaner- Jain Premier League 2018 was organized between 13th Nov.’18 to 19th Nov.’18.
Out of the 10 participant teams, an all-important final was played between Jain Youngster Club and Jain Warriors on 19th Nov.’18 at Railway Ground- Bikaner.
Electing to bat, Jain Youngster Club played well and posted a competitive score of 142 runs at the end of 20 overs with the loss of 9 wickets. Almost all the players contributed significantly for the final score, however, highest scorer was Aaditya Chhajer, who scored 28 runs off 23 balls. Pick of the bowlers were Akshay Kothari and Rahul Sethia from Jain Warriors (Bikaner Lions) with 2 wickets each.
While replying, Jain Warriors (Bikaner Lions) started to fumble from early overs. None of the players except Amit Banthia (33) managed to go beyond 10’s and team ended up scoring 128 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 9 wickets. The chief wrecker was Ankit Bothra from Jain Youngster Club, who scalped 3 important wickets in 4 overs. Nilesh Parakh too chipped in with 3 more wickets damaging the batting line up of Jain Warriors (Bikaner Lions) completely.
Jain Youngster Club won the final of Jain Premier League 2018 by 14 runs against Jain Warriors (Bikaner Lions).
Ankit Bothra from Jain Youngster Club was awarded as the player of the match for his significant contribution.
