Dee Vee Patidar Premier league 2018 - organized by Yuva Mandal Raipur was played between 9th Nov.’18 to 14th Nov.’18 at Raipur.
8 teams from various verticals participated in this muc cherished tournament from which, the crucial final was played between Keshariya and A V Challengers on 14th Nov.’18 at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Ground- Raipur.
Electing to bat, Keshariya started well with opening batsman Jay Rudani scoring 37 runs at stable pace. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals team managed to put up a decent score of 121 runs in 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. The other major contributors were Dipesh Valani and Bharat with 21 and 20 runs respectively. Pick of the bowlers was Rajesh Patel from A V Challengers, who picked 3 wickets in 4 overs. Kapil Khetani and Tushar Pokar Patel too chipped in with 2 wickets each restricting Team Keshariya from reaching at a big score.
While replying, A V Challengers played a wonderful innings and chase down the target in 17.3 overs. Opening batsman Ashish Panchani gave team a good start by smashing 37 runs off 29 runs with 6 boundaries and 1 six. Almost all the players contributed significantly in the final chase as A V Challengers reached at the score of 122 run in 17.3 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. Pick of the bowlers was Rahul Chhabiya from Keshariya with 2 wickets.
