RCC (Rajeshwar Cricket Club) was organized between 8th Nov.’18 to 11th Nov.’18 at Tharad.
Out of the 12 participant team, an all-important final of this much celebrated tournament was played between Luvana Lions and Nanamesra Tiger Eleven on 11th Nov.’18 at Dipada Somnath Ground- Tharad.
Nanamesra Tiger Eleven won the toss and and elected to field. Batting first, Luvana Lions did not manage to get a good start and lost some important wickets in early overs. However, Bhaveshbhai R, who came to bat on 4 position gave much needed boost to the team by scoring 23 runs off 21 balls. He was supported well from the other end by Karshanbhai R, who smashed 39 runs in 20 balls taking team to a stable position. Bharatbhai R too played a very good innings and added unbeaten 38 runs in 15 balls helping team reach at a very good score of 140 runs at the end of 15 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. While chasing, Nanamesra Tiger Eleven got a good start with Harshadbhai G and Dipakbhai D scoring 10 and 27 runs respectively at fast pace. RCC Mesra Velabhai too added 16 runs in 8 balls with 2 sixes. However, remaining players did not manage to score well against the strong bowling attack from Luvana Lions and wickets fell in quick succession after his dismissal. None of the remaining players managed to go beyond 10’s and team collapsed making 85 runs in 12 overs. Bhaveshbhai R from Luvana Lions was the chief wrecker, whose 5/16 rattled the rival boat completely. Bhaveshbhai N and Joitabhai B too chipped in with 2 wickets each damaging the batting line up of Nanamesra Tiger Eleven terribly.
Luvana Lions registered a glorious 55 run win over Nanamesra Tiger Eleven in the final of RCC (Rajeshwar Cricket Club).
Bhaveshbhai R from Luvana Lions was awarded as the player of the match for his outstanding contribution.
