The final of Gopalpura Premier League was played between Raajora and Gopalpura Pink Panthers at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium- Bhilwara on 13th Aug’17.
The 16 overs match started with Raajora selecting to bat after winning the toss. Gopalpura Pink Panthers managed to restrict the team from scoring well from the very beginning. Nobody except Aslam, who scored 28 runs in 18 balls managed to put up a good show. Imran Khan from Gopalpura Pink Panthers bowled exceptionally well and took 3 wickets in 4 overs by giving mere 10 runs. Raajora closed at the score of 93 runs in 15.5 overs after losing all the wickets.
Though the target was not very difficult to achieve, Raajora gave a good fight to the opponent team by taking wickets at regular intervals. However, Gopalapura Pink Panthers had a good batting line up. Mukesh Gurjar was the highest scorer, who scored 26 runs in 19 balls led the team towards the final win. The team reached to the target in 14.4 overs by losing 6 wickets.
It was an interesting match till the last over. Gopalpura Pink Panthers won the final by 4 wickets.
