Angel T-20 League 2018 organized between 9th Sep.’18 to 14th Oct.’18 at Hyderabad.
Out of the 12 participant teams, an all-important final was played between Screaming Skulls and Royal XI on 14th Oct.’18 at KLR Ground-1, Hyderabad.
Electing to bat, Screaming Skulls played a strong innings with almost all the players contributing significantly in the final score. Team started well with both Ayush Rungta and Mukesh Gilada scoring 25 and 32 runs respectively at fast rate followed by stable 40 off 36 runs by Sachin Joshi. The other major contribution came from Manish Gilada, who smashed 40 runs in just 19 balls with 2 boundaries in 4 sixes helping team reach at a commanding position. With all the players scoring well, team closed at a big score of 190 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 5 wickets. Royal XI bowlers failed to restrict the run-flow of Screaming Skulls completely, however, Vijay managed to pick 2 wickets in 4 overs.
While replying, Royal XI too gave a good fight till the end. Vijay shined again with wonderful 71 runs off 33 balls with 4 boundaries and 8 sixes helping team reach close the the target. However, other players did not manage to put up a good score and most of them were dismissed below 20 resulted in slow pace and team fell short of 13 runs from winning the final. Mukesh Gilada from Screaming Skulls bowled really well and picked 4 important wickets in 4 overs, which damaged the batting line up of Royal XI majorly.

Mukesh Gilda from Screaming Skulls was awarded as the player of the match for his all-round performance.
