Pushkar Mela Ground witnessed an interesting final match between Siddhivinayak Pushkar and Pushkar Loins on 19th July’17. Both the teams gave tough fight for the final win.
Shiddhivinayak Pushkar won the toss and elected to bat first. Though the team lost their first wicket too soon, a good partnership between Rameshwar Satrawala and Amit Goud steered them to reach to a decent target of 129 runs at the end of 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. Bowling highlight of the inning was Ajitesh Parashar, who took 3 important wickets and restricted the opponent from making a high score.
Chasing the score of 130 runs was not a difficult task but Pushkar Loins did not get a good start. Shiddhivinayak Pushkar bounced back with good bowling performance taking wickets in quick succession made it even more difficult for Pushkar Loins. Akshay Singh and Ilu Rathore were the highest scorers, who’ve added 29 and 27 runs respectively. Despite of all their efforts till the last over, Pushkar Loins closed their inning in 111/8 at the end of the day.
Shiddhivinayak Pushakar became the champions of the tournament winning the final by 18 runs.
