Jaipur Premier League 2018 was organized between 30th Sep.’18 to 7th Oct.’18 at Jaipur.
25 teams from various cricket clubs participated in this much celebrated tournament from which, the final was played between Sparkle Warriors and Maratha Warriors on 7th Oct.’18 at Chaugan Stadium - Jaipur.
Sparkle Warriors won the toss and elected to bat. Despite of poor performance from most of the players, team managed to reach at a reasonable score of 116 runs at the end of 12 overs by losing 9 wickets, thanks to Hardeep Singh, who played exceptionally well and fought a lone battle smashing 72 runs in just 27 balls with 7 boundaries 6 sixes. Remaining all the players were dismissed in single digits except Rafiq, who made 10 runs in 10 balls. Pick of the bowlers was Lokesh from Maratha Warriors with 3 wickets in 2 overs.
While chasing, it has been a smooth sailing for Maratha Warriors with Raja Ali scoring unbeaten 74 runs of 32 balls with 7 boundaries and 6 sixes. Akhilesh supported him well from the other end by scoring 37 runs in 22 balls taking team towards final win. Team chased down the target in just 9.2 overs with the loss of 2 wickets.
Maratha Warriors registered an easy 8 wicket win over Sparkle Warriors in the final of Jaipur Premier League 2018.
Raja Ali from Maratha Warriors was awarded as the player of the match for his excellent performance.
