One of the most cherished tournaments of Srinagar- DCL 3.0 (Srinagar) 2018 organized by Data Center Ops was played between 25th Apr.’18 to 23rd Sep.’18.
16 teams from various verticals participated in this heavily followed tournament from which, the crucial final was played between CHQ Stars and DC Legends on 23rd Sep.’18 at TRC Ground- Srinagar.
Electing to bat, CHQ Stars posted a good score of 86 runs in 12 overs by losing 4 wickets. Highest scorers were Amir Yousuf and Yasir Khan, who scored 38 and 29 runs respectively contributing majorly in the final score.
While chasing, DC Legends failed to perform well with majority of the players being dismissed at single digits. Highest score was of 13 runs made by Rubaan Ahmed. Since none of the players managed to stand for long on crease, team collapsed making 63 runs in 12 overs giving an easy win to CHQ Stars. Bowling highlight of the innings was Yasir Khan, who scalped 4 important wickets. Irfan Yaqoob too contributed well and chipped in with 3 wickets in 3 overs damaging the batting line up of DC Legends completely. CHQ Stars registered a comfortable 23 run win over DC Legends in the final of DCL 3.0 (Srinagar).
