Middle-order batsman Deep Suchak and bowler Mrugay Surd played starring roles in Oppo XI's thumping 91-run victory over Tolat XI on Monday in the Gulmohar Greens Cricket Carnival 2016 at Gulmohar Greens.
Suchak hit four boundaries and a six in his 22-ball 34 before he was forced to retire hurt because of a muscle sprain. However, Dhanraj Patel's 23 helped Oppo XI put up a total of 143 for 4 on the score board in their allotted 15 overs.
Tolat XI lost wickets at regular intervals and were never in the hunt to chase down the 144-run. Mrugay Surti took 3-13 in 2.4 overs as Tolat XI was bowled out for 52 in the 15th over.
