Held at the Rajpath Club - Ahmedabad, second semi-final of Rajpath-Kunvarji Summer Cricket League 2017 was between Falcon and Bond XI. Falcon qualified for the final after winning the match beating Bond XI by 24 runs.
Batting first after winning the toss, Falcon scored 142/8 in 20 overs. With good batting line up and very good strike rate the team managed to reach to a fairly good target for the opponent team. Bowling highlight of the inning was Sujal Patel, who took 3 wickets in 4 overs by giving 21 runs
In reply, Bond XI started with wonderful opening partnership between Udit Shah and Sujal Patel. Remaining players also tried their best to add on to the score but did not manage to go beyond 20’s or 30’s. Rachin Dalpat’s outstanding bowling, who took 4 wickets made it even more difficult for Bond XI to reach to the target. Though the score was not very high, Falcon managed to finish off the opponent team in just 118 runs by losing 6 wickets at the end of 20 overs.
