Late Bal Kishan Devra Cricket Tournament-2018 (Bashita Samaj) Bikaner was organized between 17th Aug.’18 to 22nd Aug.’18 at Bikaner.
13 teams from various verticals participated in this heavily followed tournament, from which the crucial final was played between Bikaner XI and Jodhpur Bhamasha on 22nd Aug.’18 at Railway Grond- Bikaner.
Electing to bat, Bikaner XI posted a reasonable score of 108 runs in 20 overs by losing 7 wickets. Jonny Rathod top scored with 24 runs in 31 balls. The other player, who managed to contribute well was Ashish, who made 18 runs at fast pace. Pick of the bowlers was Dakesh from Jodhpur Bhamasha, who picked 2 wickets in 2 overs giving only 6 runs restricting Bikaner XI from putting up a big score.
While chasing, Jodhpur Bhamasha gave a very good fight till the last over. Deepak Lohiya played a very good innings and made 40 runs taking team very close to the target almost single handedly. However, he failed to get support from the other end as none of the players managed to beyond 10’s and team fell short of 2 runs from reaching at the target. Jodhpur Bhamasha collapsed making 106 runs in 19.4 overs.
