Bathinda Premier League - 2018 was organized between 10th Jun.’18 to 5th Aug.’18 at Bathinda.
14 teams from various verticals participated in this much celebrated tournament, from which the final was played between D.D. Bone & Joint Hospital and Shantu- XI on 5th Aug.’18 at Cops Club- Bathinda.
Electing to bat, D.D. Bones & Joint Hospital played an excellent innings and scoring 166 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. Major credit for this big final score goes to the strong partnership between Daman Deep Singh and Arjun Singh, who added 71 and 46 runs respectively at fast pace taking team to a strong position. None of the bowlers from Shantu- XI managed to restrict the run-flow of D.D. Bones & Joint Hospital.
While chasing, Shantu- XI never got off the blocks as team started to fumble from early overs. Team failed to comprehend with the pace of Arjun Singh and Pawan Dharni from D.D.Bone & Joint Hospital, who picked 5 and 4 wickets respectively resulting in early collapse of Shantu- XI. None of the players managed to score beyond 10’s and team bundled up scoring 65 runs in just 10.2 overs.
D.D. Bones & Joint Hospital registered a glorious 101 run win over Shantu-XI in the final of Bathinda Premier League- 2018.
